David Bright was the Senior Investigating Officer in the Operation Westminster Case, having DS Graham Carter act as Officer in Charge (OIC). David was the most senior Police Officer and Commander of Essex Police at the time having previously overseen the Essex Boys (Rettenden Murders) & Lubbock cases, to name a few.
Paul Harris was the Solicitor acting for both defendants in the case named Operation Westminster by Essex Police. Paul worked for Edward Fail Bradshaw & Waterson Solicitors in East London.
Arlette Piercy was junior Barrister to Jason Bolger (1st Defendant) and now at 25 Bedford Row Chambers in London.
George Carter Stephenson KC was Leading Barrister to Jason Bolger (1st Defendant) and now at 25 Bedford Row Chambers in London.
Paul Martin Solicitor was solicitor of Craig Wicks (3rd Defendant) then at Attridge & Co. Bermondsey and now at Paul Martin & Co. Solicitors in Romford Essex.
Sir John Christopher Calthorpe Blofeld DL was the presiding Judge at the Operation Westminster Trial.
Patricia Lynch KC Barrister was Prosecution Counsel at the Operation Westminster Trial, then at 18 Red Lion Court Chambers in Chelmsford. Now appointed to the Bench at Chelmsford County Court.
Dr Margaret Stark was Essex Police expert Forensic Medical Examiner in the Operation Westminster Case. Her statement supporting the 1st Defendant was nor disclosed to the Jury and is thought to have been known to defence team pre-trial.
Professor Robert Forrest was the Forensic Toxicologist and expert for the defence for both the 1st and 2nd Defendant. Professor Forrest was later critisized by Professor Atholl Johnston for anomalies in the taking and recording of samples taken in the Operation Westminster Case being so similar to that in The Princess Diana Case.
Ian Hindmarch was the expert supporting the Prosecution in the Operation Westminster Trial. He later acted for the Defence in the trial of R v Peter Buck (REM band member). His evidence in the Operation Westminster Case was at polar opposites as that on the side of the defence in the R v Buck case.
Professor Atholl Johnson was instructed to give a report on the sampling issues in the Operation Westminster Case insofar as swapping and or mislabeling the samples of the defendants to confuse the resulting tests. He noted that Professor Robert Forrest was involved and claimed, "The issues with the samples in this case are the same as that in the Diana Case. The fact that Professor Forrest was involved in both is interesting and not surprising as I have made my views known in that case and here in my report."
